Mwabu participates in the annual Elephant Charge

The Elephant Charge is an annual 4×4 family friendly event held in the Zambian wilderness, with thirty five teams of cars and motorbikes challenged to complete a demanding course of tough terrain over the shortest possible distance. The Charge is held to raise money for conservation in Zambia, mainly focused on “conservation through education“.

Mwabu is a keen supporter of efforts to improve environmental and climate change awareness and is a key part of the team that is developing the iLearnabout project, which will enable users to access free digital content relevant to those important topics.

Mwabu sponsored a team for the first time and acquitted themselves well as ‘newbies’, completing the course in one of the quickest times and raising over $5,000 for conservation in the process.
