EduWeek Award Finalists!

We are delighted to be selected as finalists for two EduWeek Awards! We have been shortlisted for both the Basic Education and ICT categories. 

The EduWeek awards recognise excellence across the African education ecosystem. From the inception of the most innovative and life-changing products and services to local heroes who go above and beyond to assist their communities and their learners. 

Mwabu are finalists in two categories: 
Basic Education, alongside ITSI, Snapplify and Whizz Education
ICT, alongside ITSI, Hey Math and Whizz Education

The winners will be selected by a panel of 20 esteemed judges and announced at the awards evening on the 4th of October.

Mwabu CEO, Ian McFadyen Attends Trade Investment Roundtable at State House.

Ian McFadyen, the CEO of Mwabu Zambia, attended a State House trade investment round table on 21st March 2023. The delegation, led by Karen Taylor of Invest Africa, compromised nine companies representing the Energy, Mining, Education, Infrastructure and Logistics sectors, among others. Zambia’s business-friendly environment and stable governance generated much investor interest.

Mwabu at Innovation Africa 2022 Ministerial Summit

Mwabu was honoured to have been part of the official opening of the 10th edition of the Innovation Africa 2022 Ministerial Summit. The summit was officially opened by His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema on 16th November 2022. The three-day summit hosted over 300 delegates from across Africa and other parts of the world, the first of its kind in Zambia.
