The delivery of a new financial education course is now reaching completion, empowering young people with vital financial literacy training. After a successful pilot study, the new learning materials have been implemented in the initial target area of Eastern Province, Katete District, reaching over 18,000 learners!

A new digital course to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS amongst young adults has been created by Mwabu and Conservation Lower Zambezi (CLZ). The module, funded by Sidecole and CSEF II, launched in February 2019 and is already in use during outreach activities and is receiving excellent feedback!
Through our ongoing partnership with Jhpiego, Mwabu have developed e-learning courses for healthcare providers in Zambia working in maternal and child healthcare. This project is part of the Maternal & Child Survival Programme (MCSP), a multi-partner, flagship program in support of USAID’s priority goal of preventing child and maternal deaths.
Conservation Lower Zambezi (CLZ) had a school visit of 24 students at camp from the Chinyunyu area recently. This school visit was exceptionally special because it allowed CLZ to pilot its new digital learning content from Mwabu.
The Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) has partnered with Mwabu and iSchool Zambia in a project that aims to empower 73 primary schools through the supply and installation of digital content on 1,460 computers and the training of 146 teachers.
We now have eight teachers trained by the Mwabu Academy team using our educational content in Liberia. We were honoured to also be invited to meet the Minister for Education in Liberia to talk about supporting primary school interventions in the country.
Impact Network uses Mwabu in its schools across Zambia. This video will explain how our tablets have made learning easier for children and how teachers have made them a staple in their classrooms.
Mwabu has teamed up with the Zambia Ministry of Health, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Jhpiego to provide health workers with crucial training to help them deliver high-quality healthcare and access critical information.
