iSchool Zambia has teamed up with Zamtel, one of Zambia’s leading mobile providers, to sell its educational Mwabu tablets in 21 retail shops around the country. Customers who previously had to wait for sales representatives to visit their area will now have easier access to quality Mwabu eLearning content.
The partnership with Zamtel also gives customers who purchase a Mwabu tablet from the Zamtel shops a 500 MB Internet bundle, a free SIM card and Mwabu-branded pencil cases! This deal is available in participating shops only.
“We are in 21 of the 42 Zamtel outlets across the country, and we hope to have a presence in all 42 outlets in about four months' time. We are happy about this partnership as it enables us to take our product closer to the customer.
"Customers will no longer have to travel to our branded stores in Lusaka or Kitwe. For instance, the same product we sell in our stores will now be accessible to people in Mpika.
"Parents will be able to supplement their children’s education with our quality eLearning content, which is aligned to the Zambian curriculum. One of the challenges our people face, especially those living in rural areas, is the lack of quality education.
"By bringing our product closer to the people, we are providing an opportunity for them to enhance their children’s learning,” says iSchool Zambia’s Country Manager, Davison Kapakyulu.
The 21 Zamtel stores selling Mwabu tablets include Mazabuka, Kabwe, Choma, Livingstone, Mongu, Chipata, Mansa, Ndola, Luanshya, Kitwe, Mufulira, Chingola, Chililabombwe, Solwezi, Kasama, Mpika and Nakonde. In Lusaka, stores in East Park Mall, Twin Palm Mall, Cairo Mall and Zamtel House sell Mwabu tablets.
