The board of the Mwabu group of companies would like to advise that the CEO Justin Reilly will be leaving his post at the end of June 2019.

Over the last four and a half years, Justin Reilly has provided the company with inspiring leadership, securing three rounds of investment, developing new products and services, and building relations with clients and education stakeholders across Africa. He has now decided that this is the right time to move on, expanding on his work to ensure excellence in education for children everywhere. Mwabu’s board, management and staff are sad to see Justin go, but expect to continue to engage with him in our drive to create excellence in all that we do.

Mwabu is committed to its ongoing transformation and growth strategy, initiated by Justin Reilly. We expect exciting results from this, as the business continues to help schools, teachers and learners to improve the quality of teaching and learning. From Zambia, Mwabu’s home market, we will continue our drive into other countries in southern and eastern Africa, and beyond.

In the coming months, this process will be led by Ian McFadyen, Executive Chairman.

I am sad to say goodbye to Justin as Mwabu CEO”, says McFadyen, “He has made a colossal contribution to our drive to transform a small Zambian business to become a major force for good on the African continent. The Mwabu board thanks him and wishes him well for the future”.
