Transforming rural communities through digital innovation

Recently the Mwabu product team worked with the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia to update their Paediatric HIV e-learning course. The course was originally developed as part of a project with Jhpiego and the Ministry of Health, funded in part by the Centre for Disease Control. The management of the E-health Zambia eHealth Training platform has since been handed over to a team at the teaching hospital.
By its nature medical knowledge and treatment are constantly being improved. The focus of the update was to align the course content with drug and other updated approaches to care in the latest Zambia Consolidated Guidelines for Treatment and Prevention of HIV infection. The course is available free of charge to Zambian healthcare workers.
