New healthcare training course

The latest course developed in partnership with Jhpiego delivers training for medical professionals on Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision as part of comprehensive HIV prevention.

Working in partnership with Jhpiego for over six years, Mwabu have created several bespoke e-learning courses for healthcare workers, covering topics such as Child and Maternal Health, TB and HIV/AIDS. The latest course to be developed delivers training for medical professionals on Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC). 

The purpose of the VMMC course is to enable medical professionals to encourage adolescent boys and men to undergo male circumcision as part of comprehensive HIV prevention. The course includes details about counselling, preparation, methods, procedure and follow-up care.

Developed in collaboration with subject matter experts, the bespoke solution includes knowledge checks and pre/post testing, giving the learner instant feedback on their progress. The learning course includes sixteen modules and has original artwork throughout, with voicing and engaging interactive elements.

Mwabu CEO, Ian McFadyen Attends Trade Investment Roundtable at State House.

Ian McFadyen, the CEO of Mwabu Zambia, attended a State House trade investment round table on 21st March 2023. The delegation, led by Karen Taylor of Invest Africa, compromised nine companies representing the Energy, Mining, Education, Infrastructure and Logistics sectors, among others. Zambia’s business-friendly environment and stable governance generated much investor interest.

Mwabu at Innovation Africa 2022 Ministerial Summit

Mwabu was honoured to have been part of the official opening of the 10th edition of the Innovation Africa 2022 Ministerial Summit. The summit was officially opened by His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema on 16th November 2022. The three-day summit hosted over 300 delegates from across Africa and other parts of the world, the first of its kind in Zambia.
